customer service Orders, Delivery and Such: First Vine can deliver to any address (home or office) in Washington, DC or Virginia. Other states will follow as we figure out the myriad of regulations in each state. Delivery in Washington, DC is free for orders of six bottles or more, and $5.00 for fewer than six bottles. Virginia orders are shipped via Fedex Ground, and the cost will vary depending on quantity and destination. For example, shipping one case (12 bottles) to Arlington would cost $16. Keep in mind that you will also be charged Virginia alcohol taxes, which are substantially lower than DC’s, so when all is said and done the total cost won’t be much more than if the wine were delivered to DC. Fedex Ground allows you to schedule home deliveries in the evenings and can get the wine to you the day after pickup. We'll be adding a shipping calculator to the site shortly. In the meantime, we can still process your Virginia order -- just send us an e-mail at first.vine@verizon.net and we'll add it all up for you. You can order online anytime day or night, and you'll receive an e-mail confirming the order. Orders will be processed and deliveries made between 9AM and 9PM, Monday - Saturday. We'll contact you during business hours about delivery arrangements. A few things to keep in mind: * You must be 21 or older to order wine. * Whoever receives the wine must be 21 or older and will have to sign for the wine. We are required to show that we obtained proof of ID if there is any question about this. * If you're drunk when the wine shows up, you will not be allowed to receive it. Seriously. * It's fine to use a business address as your shipping address if you're allowed to receive deliveries there, especially if you work in DC. * Questions? Contact: first.vine@verizon.net |
