Domaine Peysson Côtes du Rhone White

Domaine Peysson Côtes du Rhone White

Price: $16.00

description
Jean-Luc Peysson's father began producing wines around 50 years ago. The family's production was originally sold in vat-sized quantities for larger consumption or reblending. In 2003, Jean-Luc decided to begin bottling and selling wine himself. The vineyard gives a spectacular view of Mont Ventoux and produces red, white, and rose, none of which were previously available in DC.

The 2004 Cotes du Rhône Village white is made from 50% White Grenache and 50% Clairette. The wine is more substantial than most white wines, is slightly herbal, and pairs well with food without being overwhelmed by stronger flavors.

Alc. 13% to 15% by vol.
